The second leg of the Otterbox Drop Test Tour happened over the weekend at Trinoma, where the Tenkiebox team was able to celebrate Fathers’ Day with a blast! Fathers, mothers, and children alike enjoyed participating in the drop tests.

Drop tests happened every two hours starting at 12 noon, with a name being drawn from the raffle. The team then challenged the randomly selected person to drop his or her smart phone from above the head to the platform. Of course, the phones are Otterbox-protected. Those who displayed great confidence in Otterbox and took on the challenge won FREE cases of their choosing.

Interested people swarmed our booths and put the cases on their phones. The team used the booths and the round platform from the previous drop test tour and took it to Trinoma. Some visitors even recognized it! Well, they are part of the tour, right?

All of the available Otterbox products were on display during the tour, including the new Defender and Commuter for Samsung Galaxy Note, the new Defender Colors for new iPad/iPad2, and the new Reflex Translucent for iPhone 4S/4. Fans and Otterbox users were thrilled to see and try out the new items.

Like in the previous drop test, there was still a booth where people can drop their old cases and replace them with any Otterbox series of their choice at 15% off the retail price.

In between drop tests, theTenkiebox team initiated games among the shoppers and onlookers. They played “Catch the iPhone 4S,” where one participant tosses the smart phone to the other person standing on the opposite side of the platform. Gasps and ‘ahs’ of panic came out from the audience. But all of the phones that got dropped are still fully functioning thanks to the ultimate protection of Otterbox.
